Personally, I find it terrible that there are no gender-neutral restrooms and no stairlift for my disabled grandmother. At the very least, there could have been an elevator; that's also a significant omission.

In Italy when you buy a property, you buy as a second or first house. For the first house you need the residency. The taxation is different. In the case of a first house, at moment of the purchase you will pay a one time tax of 2 % of the land registry value of the property. In the case of a second house, you will pay a tax of 9 % of the land registry value of the property. As a second house you will pay as well a yearly council tax that depends on the municipality and on the land registry value. I will make a proper video about taxation in a few days, when I will cover all of this aspects.

Everyone is complaining about the price here, but I doubt any of them are in the market. Remember, folks, it's the asking price for a fully furnished, well maintained house. They expect you to make a reasonable offer somewhere below that. It's the way it is done in Italy.
