great ROV... I love the unique the design and the use of eclectic parts... I am building my rc submarine with a similar design philosophy

I like the mono-hull design this way,it can allow you to reach al the inside parts with a minimum of seals;ever thought of putting the vertical thrusters under a 45° angle so it allows you to move in a "crabbing" motion?Thumbs up.

Looking good. I can't wait to see the video from open water.

Hello. I really like the lay out of your ROV. I'm I was wondering if you had any kind of info on how you wired up the controls?

Very cool design! I like how modular it is. Do you have any electrical diagrams or details on the nano that you use and details on the tether?

How can you keep it stable in mid-water . I mean being neutrally bouyant

Kul projekt. Bra jobbat!

Hur djupt går ekolod?
@TomasForslund10 жыл бұрын

Hi, i like your project , but i have Questions ? Can i make the same thing without cable ? What can i do ? Can i give Coordinates and let the vehicle go to the specified destination by using GPS? have you use Raspberry Pi or Arduino? have you use Python or what other language do you prefer? I am Ali , Master degree student at Gannon University Erie,PA. my best regards

The problem is poor radio transmission through water (non distilled). The common frequencies for radio control and video link will not reach very far. I presume 2.4 GHz would only reach about 5 m in salt water. I think you have to go below 5 kHz to get some distance. I doubt GPS would work at all under water. I think military submarines still have to surface for accurate positioning and communication.

you should make a device to vacuum swimming pools calculating weith of the hose tens of thousands swimming pools in us due to winter weather moss leaves bound to be filledup with moss camera is a must beside light I believe such device can be easily priced minimum 500 us dollars which can be used for fish ponds and other quatic ponds compare to cleaning expenses of such algea and moss which is around min 300 to 600 it can be a great seller even as a professional cleaner version take this suggestion in consideration and what the heck is that happy music

Some professional designers use Sketch up.

Samuel Polak A real professional uses Autodesk Inventor or Solid Works.

Renato Leite Not necessarily. Some use sketch up because they like it or already know how to use it.
