The one thing that makes me love Splatoon so much (although I haven't played it for years) is the worldbuilding. Everything about Splatoon makes me wish to *live there* . Hell I even go into the Arena Maps solo and just take the atmosphere in. It is amazing to have just the... world sounds instead of funky music. I really hope they don't change that in Splatoon 3.

On the topic of idols Wouldn’t it be cool if the idols were underground pirate radio hosts? That would fit with the grunge mad max feel of Splatoon 3 imo (Tho tbf there is the problem of the splatlands being a place of chaos making a pirate radio station illegal in the first place wouldn’t make much sense)

My personal favorite small detail was the little animated splatposts. They reminded me of flip-notes. It was adorable and a nice treat for the eyes. 19:04 Male octolings have eyes with a regular black outline, while female octolings have small makeup-wing things at the bottom corner of there black eye lines. This would be how octoling gender/voices would be determined. Inklings have no distinguishable male/female differences. Except that base, unmodified males have larger eyebrows. So the left option for your species would be female, the right would be male (as seen in the first trailer, this could change [possible eyebrow customization???]). I always loved the idea of games taking advantage of save files of other games, they did it a lot with memory cards in the 2000s and pokemon loves giving you gifts like exclusive clothes and even legendaries/mythicals for that recently.

Okay hearing the idea of everyone having a little buddy in the multiplayer modes gave me a idea. What if Grizzco sells the salmoniods as pets or like guard dogs? Like imagining he’s just like “These bad boys will grow up to be one of the most loyal companions you ever have! These things will kill in order to protect you in battle !” Sorta like dobermans or German shepherds being police dogs! So everyone’s like “Wow these things will help me in turf wars and ranked modes! That sure is fresh!” Or something. Idk..it just seems kinda cool.

I had the idea for the PVE being scrap collecting like this, there’s scavenger enemies, like crabs or lobsters or something, and you throw little buddy at the scrap, and your and your teammate’s little buddies carry scrap like Pikmin, you gotta defend them while they get it to a certain area

vian . . . i have some speculations on the first two questions you answered. 1. i think the new villain will be the skull-like creature on the official posters for the hero mode (return of the mammalians.) i also think that dj octavio will be in the new training dojo for you to fight. it would be cool if you could choose between different types of mechs and different stages for you to fight him. 2. i think there might be no idols in splatoon 3 considering chaos won. splatsville seems to have no big tv screen in the first trailer to cast the news, and no spot in the square for the idols to screen the news, like in splatoon one and two. this would also completely solve the problem of not being able to fully skip the news. also an alternative way to check stages, new updates, and etc. can either be in the menu, on the app, or on the website, which is why the news isn’t needed in the first place. also we could still have maria and pearl, or callie and marie if either inkopolis square or plaza is still available to us in game. like you said it could be in a dlc to the game, which would be interesting also vian, if you’ve read all of this, thank you for everything that you’ve done. love your vids ❤️. alsooo please like and pin my comment, and maybe even reply. this took a while to make lmao.

I was thinking about when you said something along the lines of "A little buddy gamemode" and I just thought of this concept on the spot- but on the nintendo splatoon 3 page it says that little buddy and new agent 3 are junk collectors who do turf war on the side- what if the gamemode for splatoon 3 is a race to get the most junk in the splatlands? like getting multiple players to search for stuff under the sand with little buddy and the most stuff collected wins? or some other stuff like that.

9:56 I think it's less it wasn't worth the effort to go and add the option and more that it just didn't make sense thematically, same reason as Octo expansion. But now in Splatoon 3 since both inklings and octolings are an option right out the gate, it wouldn't make sense _not_ to make a story mode where you can play as either one (which is also more evidence against DJ Octavio being the main antagonist)

I think that those bear warnings on the salmon run map means that maybe mr. Grizz attacked the humans before, but the inklings could not be bothered to take them down and the inklings don't know what it means and mr.Grizz might be plotting something. I know that mr. Grizz is not really a bear he's kinda like uh a plastic thing that talks but we don't know what his true identity is so I hope in splat 3 we get more lore on that. What do you guys think?

I like the idea that mako sharks took away the water/moisture from the land. And our character has to make their way to Alteria to get the water back. Also Marina is leading them. Also I feel like Double Bass by Gorillaz is a good song to be part of the Splatoon 3 soundtrack.

Something I would like as extra ranked mode(which would also fit the theme of Chaos) is, where there are like one tower/rainmaker for every team and they have to strategize a bit more. And it would be a bit chaotic having two opposing rainmakers with their teams battle each other.
