Brodnax is true hip hip! He don't talk that fake shit, no trend hoppin', but, real, genuine life talk, with the gritty sprinkled on it. He should be blowing up, but, this new world too busy fad chasin' and clothes checkin', fashion over passion. Todays world is weird. Great reaction, Ray.

That’s because in today’s music it ain’t gonna be put out in front of people like the mainstream folks. You got a dig for talent like this sadly.

I LOVE this album! I play it all the time. My ol' southern tongue can't keep up and I'm usually just singin' the first and last word of the line...but I love it!

The biggest diservice to rap was the 2010-2020ish mainstream/semi mainstream platform push of gang based set rap. When they all inevitably started dying and other rappers got attention I think they realized maybe thats not the best message to send. Don't get wrong, a lot of those guys do have good songs but that should never be a "sponsored" genre of rap. Let them push Drake or some other fake person, because it allows better artists to shine indepentantly.
