Hey everyone, welcome back to the channel! Today, we're embarking on a sunny day adventure across London, starting from the iconic Marble Arch and ending in Harrow. We'll be riding buses 189 and 186, passing through some of the city's most interesting neighborhoods and landmarks. Let’s get started on this exciting journey! 🌞🚍✨
Starting Point: Marble Arch (Bus 189) 🚍
Our journey begins at Marble Arch, a stunning monument and a gateway to Hyde Park. We board the 189 bus, setting off through the bustling streets of central London. The weather is warm and sunny, making the ride even more enjoyable.
Marble Arch to Brent Cross (Bus 189) 🚍
As we travel on the 189 bus, we first pass through Baker Street, famous for the Sherlock Holmes Museum and the historic Baker Street Station. The streets are lively with tourists and locals alike, all soaking up the sunny day.
Next, we pass by the legendary Abbey Road, home to the iconic Beatles crossing. It's a thrill to see fans recreating the famous album cover photo. The bus then takes us through Kilburn, a vibrant neighborhood with a rich cultural scene.
We continue our journey through Cricklewood and North Cricklewood, residential areas with a mix of Victorian and modern architecture. Finally, we reach Brent Cross West Station and Brent Cross, known for its large shopping center where you can find anything from high street brands to luxury goods.
Brent Cross to Harrow (Bus 186) 🚍
At Brent Cross, we transfer to the 186 bus. This leg of the journey takes us through Hendon, a bustling area with a mix of residential and commercial zones. The sunny weather highlights the charm of this diverse neighborhood.
As we continue, we pass through Grahame Park, an area known for its community spirit and green spaces. We then reach Mill Hill, a suburban area with lovely parks and a tranquil atmosphere.
Next, we arrive in Edgware, a lively town with a busy high street and excellent shopping options. The journey continues to Canons Park, an area known for its beautiful parkland and historic sites.
The bus then takes us through Belmont Circle, a vibrant local shopping area, before reaching Wealdstone, known for its community feel and bustling market.
