Best marching sticks I’ve ever used. They have such a great sound when you play them on a snare, and also not to mention these sticks feel so good to play with. My hands barely get tired playing with these!

I like that Broken City lick you threw in there

Hands down my favorite pair of sticks I’ve ever used. They feel perfect in the hands and don’t have so much mass to where it feels like you’re weighed down. Excellent product

He did a drum clinic and it was the coolest thing, I bought a pair of his sticks and got him to sign a snare head

He's still got it haha. Taught my instructor in the Blue Devils who then taught the line himself. Great people to learn from.

I have 2 pairs of these and have liked them. Very good response with the round bead. A lighter stick and the usual VF quality.

Edit: As soon as I find a stick I like, the company stops making them. When you buy a signature stick you'd better buy many pairs because if an artist jumps ship to another company, then the stick will no longer be available. This isn't the case YET with the Roger Carter stick, but wait and it will no doubt happen. Just an observation.

I don't know what it is, but I agree with his statement about the wood being more moist lol.. Maybe it has to do with the lacquer finish on the stick?

BCP uses Vic Firth my guy. I think that if Roger stays with Bluecoats then eventually they'll switch to Vic Firth. Idk though
@alexmok26 жыл бұрын
The Bluecoats are sponsored by IP and Yamaha, Roger isn’t. If that makes sense. He himself has different sponsorships from the groups. Same with Broken City.

Snare drumming has no soul, or groove, anymore. It's all just as many notes that be crammed into a given time space, nothing more or less.
