Ooh this is great. I’ve been interested in the tone of the van sice but I really enjoy my Ludwig alberts which are rather heavy. I also enjoyed the extreme dynamic range the mallets can get. So these mallets will fix a lot of problems and worries I had with the van sice! Definitely ordering!

After I watched this I went and rewatched the mono-tonal Van Sice video to do a comparison and definitely duo-tonal Van Sice are the way to go! I am super excited to see this One Vibe! Will you be working with it before or after HK and the recital? You were missed...I thought one of those vicious Kangaroos got you at the Zoo you visited! Haha!! P.S. What mallet set would you prefer to buy if you were going into college and if it’s the van sices would you get the monotonal or duo and what hardnesses if you are trying to buy a good mallet set without spending to much

I'd suggest getting the mono tone. Double tones are great but it takes more techniques to get the sound you want. I'd suggest 2 pairs of 114, 2 pairs of 115, 1 pair of 112 and 113. you''re golden. they will last for a long time :) hope this helps
