Vic on alert and keeping an eagle eye out for the hawk. July 7, 2024

Lots of action around the nest today.
Vic is on high alert for the hawk .
Ellie was being harassed for almost an hour by a pesky dive bombing hawk. At least I think it was a hawk? It was so fast and difficult to identify. I say hawk because of the shape of its tail. Its speed would say it’s a falcon but the size throws me off.
Suggestions welcomed 🤔
