Hi Vic - I watch all of your videos and just realized that YT hasn’t served up any of your last 3 videos on my home page. 😢 I don’t have notifications turned on for any channels cuz I hate that feature, but normally YT shows me my faves cuz it knows what I like. The YT algo is impossible to figure out and it seems like some creators get kicked out for no good reason while others get more exposure with worse content. Any-hoo just wanted to let u know because I know how hard u work on your videos.

9:00 lol... that's EXACTLY the voice of Peter from Craig's List Hunter's (taxidermy voice) jokingly asking for likes and subscribes cause it "really helps the YT Algo..." (which works in his case) - thanks Vic for putting me back in the closet.. and here i was about to begin this EPIC Vlog journey this morning... had my camera in the fridge, another in the trash can to dump the coffee grounds on even debated on putting one in the toilet but then realized i would already be creating a big pile of poopy so I just went back to bed... 😊

How so many are self absorbed and waste so much time not caring about the content itself, but just the fact the posted a video. And bad audio is the absolute worst! Fix your life and take care of that one thing.

There are a few talented wafflers, but it is a high art and most people can't do it. I think what most creators forget: they're either entertainers or educators, sometimes both and if your stuff neither entertains nor educates, people won't stay around.

@@VicBarry it all resonates. You've pointed out some habits that people do that are such bad practise. Like music choice, and making sure you're not waffling. It's a great reminder to stick to the point and don't be lazy. I enjoyed this video more than some of your tech ones, because some of the cameras you have, I don't, so the videos aren't as relevant to my learning.
