Aah thanks a lot! I may get around to doing tutorials on that one day but I normally have multiple projects going on at once and making videos hasn't really been like a priority. I do plan on launching a discord server soon for people to ask about stuff and share work, etc, so that might be an outlet later ^^

I used to be into blender a lot back in 2018 but after awhile became burnt out and bored with it, simply because of the lack of available rigs to play around with. I have to say that you have completely changed the game with these spectacular rigs you've made available for people. It's made me want to get back into animation as a hobby so thanks!

Damn, impressive. I always struggled to get the proper eyelashes on Sonic characters because I wanted them to be one single mesh with the eyelids, but seeing you having them as separate meshes made me realize how much I overcomplicated for no reason.

I downloaded and duplicated the file, so if I mess up one beyond what I can fix I can just delete it that I'll have a fresh one there, I messed around with this model a little and learned some interesting things, like how she doesn't have as many polygons as I thought she had, and with this I learned that my models don't need an insane number of polygons to look professional I'd love to see her in an official sonic game

Just download this and left eyelid is missing when in pose mode and I get no arm/legs FK controls and bend bones in the feet only. And this issue is not only on this rig. Rain rig no FK in either arms or legs just spine and no bend bones and it's possibly the same in others too? The Kheil works though. I'm just mentioning this as you might know what the issue is, even if Rain is not your creation. So do you have any idea what might cause this? I have installed /enabled both rigify and Blend rig V5 I've tried in both 2.91 and 2.92

Well, this did make me check on my files and turns out I accidentally left a bunch of the controls hidden, so it should all be working now. The left eyelid isn't actually missing, it's just off by default because it's not necessary to the eyeshape. You can turn it on on the Vice UI that show's up on the side panel. I have no idea what could be wrong with Rain, though, but it's possible it might be something similar. I don't use rigify or blend rig so idk if that would have anything to do with it

@@bmbrice1792 cheers I'll look into to it again then. I have a background in Maya, so I'm not at all familiar with how to pick apart and I hiding enabling the rig features Blender yet. So if you can point me in the right direction how to learn how that part of Blender works as well I'll appreciate it very much. I have tried looking into it myself. But what I find is not very in depth at all. Just how to move and group things in the outliner. I think my biggest mistake is to think things work the same way as in Maya. They simply don't, this is Blender and I love it more and more. So I want to learn more and more. Edit I just updated the Vice rig. I found the left eyelid, but still no FK or bend bones unless I'm being really daft here? So I suspect what you did has not been updated on Gumroad yet, how ever it says the file I just d/l was created or updated today. I'll try reach you on Twitter so I can show you a screen shot.

So playing around with the rig rn The arms and leg only work on IK, no FK bones. Also I don't seem to have full control over the Left eye on the rig Any chance there's an updated version of the rig? Edit: Nvm, I found the left eye

It depends on what you mean. If it's the angle then going into one of the orthographic views should take care of it. If it's the focal length, you can find it under the view tab in the N menu. The default is 60, I think

When you say Sonic Style OC do you mean like a OC who lives in the Sonic world or an unrelated OC who happens to be designed like how a Sonic character would be?

Like, she wears no clothes, which is something more for male Sonic characters (sometimes jackets but no pants) yet she has eyelashes! For a moment I thought your OC was a male Sagitary bird (one of my favorite birds BTW)
