I met Curtis in NYC in 2012. He took myself (a little Australian girl) and my friend (an even smaller girl from Spain) under his wing and took us to so many amazing places in Brooklyn and all over. When I heard of his passing, it hit so hard. He’d been so selflessly kind to me in the few weeks I was in NYC, I was truly blessed to have met him. He would’ve loved this video. Every single group of people you'll ever encounter will have their fuckheads, but for the most part you'll rarely meet a more friendly and unconditionally accepting bunch of people than these folks.
