Bad Documentary. No research. 'Sorta like Britain's lasting legacy'. All over Africa have been making variations of moonshine for thousands of years. But hell, blame the Brits as usual. Looks like it is okay for random racist (as in, let's hate the colonialist Brits) foreigners to go to Africa and make documentaries on something and somewhere they do not understand. How many actual white Africans make these documentaries? Host makes me feel uncomfortable drinking from the same vessels as loads of others.

That was a village party for a North American TV crew in town. They wanted to show off their life. Sure people drink a lot each day, but not that much every day. Could you imagine if you had a bunch of foreigners come in town that you've never seen before (outside of media)? You'd want to show them the best. See how many of the older women are wearing the best dresses? They also slaughter a larger goat. They must've been saving it for a special occasion. You think that goat just grew that big in the wild? It's an agricultural community, which means men work in the mornings 'til midday-ish, and women mostly stay at home taking care of children and doing lots of cooking and cleaning etc. It's a good story but without context of living there for a couple of months, the story is not always "everyday life."
