I remember this storm so much. Share ko lang hihi. It was our first time experiencing a storm this strong. I remember that out of all the houses sa subdivision namin, kami lang yung hindi pinasok ng baha kasi mataas taas din talaga yung elevation nya, kasi yung ibang houses that night nasa bubong na yung baha, but kami hindi talaga kami inabot, and I remember all of It well. And watching this again makes me really sad. And I'm just so happy that Meme Vice and her friends are safe, and they did not panic at all. Im from the Visayas. I hate Reading & watching all the photos & videos from the tragedy bec it makes me so helpless. Parang wala akong magawa para maging okay lahat. Yung gusto mong tulungan lahat pero di mo alam pano at wala ka namang means to help. Its heartbreaking to see people struggling, helpless & dying 💔💔 What 2020 did to me was become a person who would expect the worst, now. The early months of 2020, optimism pa eh. “ it will get better “ pa & etc. Ngayon, nagEexpect nako for the worst. Like every little thing has a consequence. I dont know if its a good thing or not bec it does make us alert here than ever. Umulan ng malakas samin kahapon ng 4 am . Like HARD RAIN. Natakot nako. Where i live, weve never really experienced a flood that reached our hips BUT this year talaga, tumataas lalo anxiety ko. 2020, anything can happen. Di na kasi natin alam. Like naiisip mong kung nangyari sa kanila to bat di mangyayari satin? No one’s safe. Its hard to be an optimist during these times. Being resilient isnt even enough na. I dont know how our country can get through this. Prayers & “ Stay safe “ can only do so much BUT it really goes a long way. Kaya naman siguro natin to? 🤍 Kapit 🤍
