Regardless of what people may think of Jim Cornette and Jim Ross, the amount of death they’ve seen over the years is heartbreaking.

I was born in August of 1990. Brian Pillman died October 5th, 1997... I started watching wrestling during the summer of 1997. So about June 1997 to be exact, it was just a couple months before my 7th birthday... It took a few weeks to get to know the wrestlers. But I definitely remember Brian Pillman. He took it so damn serious and because of how serious he took it, I was truly convinced that wrestling was real. Him, and a few other were the reason I got into wrestling as much as I did!!! Even though I was only able to watch him for just a few months before he passed, like I said he was a big reason why I was into wrestling as much as I was... RIP BRIAN PILLMAN

Recently watched the full episode of this . Brian Pillman was 1 of my favourites back in the 90's when he was in WCW and had great matches with Jushin "Thunder " Liger over the WCW Light Heavyweight Title and when him and Steve Austin were WCW Tag Team Champions as the Hollywood Blondes . The matches they had with Ricky "The Dragon " Steamboat and Shane Douglas over the tag titles were some of the best matches ever . Breaking them up as a tag team imo was a mistake cause they definately got over with the fans .They had Pillman and Austin feud for a little bit .Rember when he came back in '95 then went heel again and joined The 4 Horseman and his feud with Kevin Sullivan and his acknowledgement of him as the booker and subsequently leaving . Have seen his promos in ECW which were nothing short of entertaining and him calling out Shane Douglas and his failure in the WWF and past lousy gimmicks . Remember that home invasion angle in the WWF w/Austin and him joining The Hart Foundation and his feud w/Goldust and the match where he won Marlena for 30 days and had her dressed up like a hooker and him claiming that he had relations with her prior to Goldust and Runnels being together . Also remember hearing about his death on RAW . Whether he was wrestling a great match or cutting a controversial promo he was entertaining but his past relationships , demons and a car accident and addiction to painkillers end his life he could have done so much more .Nice to see his son wrestling in AEW and carrying on the Pillman name . Hopefully someday Pillman will be in the HOF cause he deserves it . He was entertaining and a pioneer . RIP and respect to him .

I was born on September 22nd, 1997. The night that Cactus Jack made his WWF debut & Goldberg made his WCW debut. I was only alive for 2 weeks before Brian Pillman died on October 5th, 1997. The night that Kane made his iconic WWF debut at Bad Blood. I didn't really get to know about Brian Pillman until years later when WWE made a DVD about him in the mid 2000s. I was mesmerized by Brian's athleticism in the ring & the way he cut promos. He legit became one of my all time favorites. Whether he was Flyin Brian in WCW or the Loose Cannon in ECW & WWF, Brian Pillman was so ahead of his time. I truly believe that if it wasn't for that car accident, he would've been one the biggest stars in pro wrestling. He'd be just as big, if not bigger, than Stone Cold Steve Austin. More importantly, the sky truly would've been the limit for Brian Pillman. He left us way too soon & way too young at the age of 35. RIP Brian Pillman (May 22nd, 1962 - October 5th, 1997).

Geez, this video hit hard. I don't have any kids, but five nephews. And seeing all these reactions give me yet another reason to NEVER harm myself. I need to be there for my nephews. I couldn't intentionally cause them this pain I'm seeing here. (Want to troll?: Do it here, I'm not reading it anyway. XoXo 🥰)

I know that Austin went with Brian's wife to pick out urns (wooden boxes). He paid for them, too. She gave Austin half his ashes.
