Wouldn't it be nice if some nation (the ones supposed to be fighting the war on terror maybe...) helped you guys out? It's too bad governments are just mercenaries, and the countries of Africa can't really pay up for the assistance. The sad truth. Sometimes I think about moving to somewhere like this to help out with this kind of bullshit; just buying a plane ticket and going. I'm sure I would miss many luxuries, but I'd get used to it, and luxuries are exactly what blind the rest of the world to things like boko haram in the first place. The main thing that concerns me is dying too soon before I get to make a difference, from sickness that I'm not accustomed to or food/water shortage etc., things the first world takes for granted. I wish I could just teleport to the fight and fuck these idiots up. I don't have a problem dying to save humanity. We all gotta die anyway.
@mahamatadam-bechir36219 жыл бұрын
Hi To be honest i feel like if we don't learn to solve our own issues we fail as a continent, those nations are helping in a way, but its only so limited. they cant really deal with the situation all the time, the people who can really make a difference are the natives to the region, the armies of that region, witch also involves Chad, with the War experience Chad is making a difference in this war but this should be a example of what could happen if we don't learn how to fight or control this kind of violence. This is slightly different than the War on Terrorism, these people are just local criminals and bandits who have nothing to loose, they were allowed to grow until the point they are considered a terrorist group, they use the religious banner to trick civilians, they more the media pumped them the more notorious they became...these people are sick killers, they will do ANYTHING for attention, trust me its very different this side, we are doing EVERYthing we can to rid of them!

Nigeria lack the will to fight, they got everything the jets the choppers, plus war Cost money, Even my country Chad it cost a lot of money so send all these troops, but Chad is surrounded by violent countries think about it, North East West South, all hostile areas so you can only imagine the war experience the army has non stop fighting. but i wouldn't call the Nigerians Cowards, just lack of will

Yusuf Jama You're very wrong. Nigeria's army performs peacekeeping operations in very many African countries, and has foiled coups in quite a number of African countries. It's not that Nigerians aren't willing to fight Boko Haram (see VICE's report "The War Against Boko Haram"); it's that the previous government - which just recently changed after elections - wasn't doing all that much against them considering all the resources Nigeria has for an African country. It wasn't until the elections I mentioned were around the corner that the previous government ordered a full out military campaign against Boko Haram, hoping that this would help them secure victory in the elections - didn't happen, but the military campaign reduced Boko Haram's vast territorial holdings in Nigeria to areas just around the Chadian border.
