My introduction to, familiarity with, tremendous admiration and appreciation for Vicente Fernandes, Antonio Aguilar, Pedro Infante, Javier Solís and many more Latino artists and songs too numerous to mention came about by my daily exposure to their music when I lived on the coast of Oaxaca from 1974 to 1977. Lucha Villa and her song "Te Voy A Olvidar" was one of the more frequent selections on the jukebox.
