adorable beasts lol. Cute and lethal. Super impressed with both of them at invicta. Awesome technique, boxing, footwork....etc. I feel like alex didnt let her self loose, she could do better. But thats cool cause she has great potential. She seems more emotional and perhaps needs to adjust a bit more and fight with more urgency. But i loved her style. Irene was amazing. Demolished that poor girl. Other than cyborg, i ve never seen such a strong female fighter (on the feet). It sucks that she is sick for invicta 10. But i will defintelly follow their careers and i am already a fan

That last excercise is okay of you have enough muscle mass around your neck.. However, it is scary to see metal on spine!! Think long-term safety, please!! The referee at the second fight (with Irene) is completely clueless. The red hair lady was taking a beating that shouldn t have need to go that far. He should have stopped the fight at 11:28 the moment she got dropped. The safety of the fighters is more important than anything. That referee should not be in a cage.

Jason Toh no. Basically, " protect yourself at all times" is the key command . If the ref judges a fighter is no more able to do this effectivly an dconsequently he must stop the fight. However different referees have different styles, if you know Herb Dean in the UFC for example ,he oftens doesn t even allow a proper finish he stops at the moment you I think would call early he did the just that at UFC 189in the Mendes vs Mcgregor fight. In the opposite a ref like Steve Mazzagati (UFC) often lets it go a lot further until the finish is clear. It s different referees ,different styles but the main role of the referee is to keep the fighters safe. This red haired lady dropped like a potatoe sack right down on her butt when Irene contacted with the right hand. To anyone who truly knows combat sports that is a very heavy concussion. After that she was on "auto pilot" aka survival mode , it s the state when you re basically finished already but your muscle memory is trying to keep you alive. If you have seen the Gustafsson vs Johnson fight that s what happen to Gus after that head kick, he was still running around the octagone but he was finished... Result of that utterly late stoppage , girl got mauled. She wasn t only beaten already ,she got a beating on top of that and this is no good for anyone. Not for her health and not for the league cause she will take a long time to heal and wont be cleared for fighting which puts her unavailable on roster and hospital bills cost the league. Conclusion of that: referee should have called it earlier.

You did not read me correctly, my friend. I was comparing different styles, different referees. I mentioned Mcgregor vs Mendes as an exemple of what some people would call an early stoppage. I did not say I thought it was stopped early. It is better for a man to communicate clearly and politely to others, without need for insults, even on the Internet.
