This song always makes me cry-wait, let me explain. My daughters belong to a local special-needs performance/dance team. This team, the “Dreamers”, regularly perform at our state’s Special Olympics Opening Ceremonies. The year they chose and danced to this song, not only did the crowd love it, but gave them a standing ovation. And to top it off, my eldest had a solo part. So that’s why I start to sob every time I hear this-I see that joyful crowd on their feet again and my daughters dancing. 😭
