My friends and i would often drive up to the City to see them play. Always a great show. Our little band was fortunate enough to open for them here in the Monterey area before Carl's passing. VR was our favorite band at that time and honestly these guys were our heroes. It seems like a life time ago now, but the memories of those days are forever cherished. Good times with my bros.

Holy Fuck does this take me back. I watched almost every show they did in the bay area. Especially at the omni. Carl is truely missed even to this day. What an amazing sound and incredible presence they made.

Thats what my thoughts were. 100% agree with all of the above ,except with the Tate part....Alberts has a more stable and manly head voice. At least imho :) RiP Carl,you were one of the greatest singers ever to walk the Earth.

Hi, where the hell did you get this tape? The almighty Carl Albert and one of my favourite cities - Rome! I saw VC here in Germany shortly before his death. What a great band they were and Carl just killed totally. Great clip. Grazie and ciao from Germany.
