Many years ago I moved into a house where the previous occupier had left a cassette tape, one side Allan Stivell, the other side what I thought said Vidian Tarpinian.. I really liked it and played it alot. Lost or snapped along the way, I'm very pleased to hear this music again and I find it very moving though I don't know what the language is or what the words mean

The language is Armenian, and this song is called "Im Mayr" which means, Mother of mine. We have a lot of songs about mothers and about our motherland.

This brought a lot of good memories from the time with Vicken (Hartar) performing in London. We enjoyed every music that Vicken presented. Long live Vicken's music and singing.
