Brookes was a creep. Why couldn't Vicky see that? Probably because he stroked her massive ego and she lapped it up. She was so fixated on getting her ego pumped up that she didn't care about him being a con man. She knew what he was like, but her Narcissism wouldn't let her admit it. So when her friends point out the obvious over and again, she refuses to admit they're right, so he ramps up the stroking and she continues to swallow all his lies. She'd rather do that, risk losing her daughter than admit she's been duped by a con man who isn't even very attractive. That's what your big ego does for you.

Vicki is the biggest hypocrite on this show. When she talked about Slade and Gretchen defends him, she says he’s in the public and she can talk about whatever she wants. So they start talking about Brooks and she says it’s private. Lol. She wants all this recognition for being an OG and that they ‘found her and came to her’ and she ‘never auditioned’ and then Andy c alls her out and shows the video and she goes into a tantrum. Lol.
