VICKS Vapor Rub ACNE TREATMENT??? (When, Where & How To Apply)
Hello Everyone, today I will be going over another acne treatment, Vicks Vapor Rub. Its not just for coughs and colds, Vicks can also be used to help treat your acne.
I tend to apply the Vicks at night with a q-tip, it helps me get to sleep and if I happen to have a cough or nasal congestion, it will help clear that up as well. A little 2 for 1 action there.
If you're going to use the Vicks for acne, remember that the Vicks contains Camphor, and that ingredient has toxins which cannot enter the skin. If you pop a pimple, dont put the Vicks on that area.

Personally It worked for me, but it took 2 weeks for most of my acne to disappear (I still have acne but not as much as before) I highly recommend Vicks first week you probably won't see a major difference but for me, the first week made my face smooth. If your face is getting more acne from Vicks stop using it (Other people's skin are different)

Yes clean and clear is not the best brand I don’t recommend it is very harsh on skin. Try getting the $7 face wash made by Simple and watch hyram for more tips👍👍👍

My dad has been telling me to use it for ages. Both me and my dad have rosacea, so my face looks sun burnt pretty much all the time except the rare occasion. I put it on 10 minuets ago (before youtube it) and the redness has gone down so much! If the pimple has popped you can just leave it. The redness and inflammation will slowly start to disappear. You can continue with the Vicks if you want, but just give your face a day or two before putting more on.

If you have Vicks it will help, but like I said not on the first use. You will have to use it for a few days. You can put it on with a q-tip or a little cloth so you don't spread the oils around with your hands, causing you to break out more. If you don't have Vicks you can always go out and buy an acne cream

If you have not seen any progress during this time, you need to stop using the product. Also, how long do you leave the product on your face? If it is on for a long time it may not help as your face needs time to breathe!

Strix_Varia yeah it would be best to apply overnight, but if you have your face in the pillow that will probably rub some of it off. 1-2 hours with it on your face will still help, but obviously the longer the better. You can always put some on a few hours before work and then rinse it off when you’re about to leave.

No it shouldn't. The ingredients in the vapor rub help eliminate the bacteria and force it out the skin. If you use the vapor rub as soon as you pop a pimple it may clog it, so just be aware of that.

If you have acne anywhere, you can either apply it with your fingers or you can use a cloth or something. Don’t pop the pimples before applying. Try and avoid your eyes, nose, and lips as you may experience irritation. Remember you don’t need a lot of the product, less is more.
