Just watched a couple of Cillian's interview because of Peaky Blinders. I can't help but admire him so much for not wanting anything to do with the celebrity lifestyle and the glamour that comes with it. Lucky woman his wife is. Because I'm sure when you're an actor there's a lot of temptation considering the nature of the work and being away from the family most of the time. So for him to just have a clear mind of only wanting to be an actor and does not play with all these pr bullshit, you gotta give it to the man

@@nikitamohan3390 From what I can see, I assume he's an introvert. He admits he gets uncomfortable when he gets too much attention. And probably it's his way of dealing or fighting to resist the temptation of the glamour world. He mentioned his family is precious to him that's why he just learn his line, do the job and then go home to his family. No socialising. His method might not get him a superstar status or millions of endorsement but as long as he's happy, who am I to judge? As a fan, sure would love to see him in magazine covers and what not but he does compensate it with his good work. I'm fine with that. Although I do find it sad, admirable and funny when I saw him in the Vice interview, he still could not afford a 27k fender guitar. This is after the massive success of Batman Begins, Inception and Peaky fookin Blinders.
