The dancing’s easy. I’m more impressed by somebody who can do dinner!! I’ve picked up some very basic cooking-with-eggs skills, myself. Poached or boiled, to my preference of hardness, and I’m kind of proud of myself, but I’m still a fire hazard when trying to fry them. I’m playing with potatoes, now. Well, not playing. Destroying. Wrecking potatoes and making lots of smoke. I was born knowing how to dance and eat better than how to cook. I have zero natural cooking skills … »sigh«

I’ve been enjoying Sven Otten’s videos for a few years now. It’s both lovely and wonderful to me how some of the Eastern Europe and Nordic countries are discovering, incorporating, Improving and making their own some of the best eras and aspects of American culture. In the past 13 years since we’ve been in California, there has been an ever increasing presence of both Eastern European and Nordic people who own classic American cars and fly here to participate in all manner of shows, races and rallies. My very Mexican American husband has made some excellent friends from Finland to the Czech Republic to Norway. They have embraced the cars, the music, the clothing and the fun and carefree attitude. It’s given a whole new dimension and enthusiasm back to retro-American culture and we are the better for it. Yay for cultural melding!! The best things on earth come from when we share what we love and others take it and improve it. Electo-swing is one of my favorite things to watch. I think of how much both of my parents would have loved it. My dad’s 100th birthday would have been August 10, 2021.

I always admired those people ❤ wishing I could dance like that, but I've never managed to. I got pills for my heart, I still couldn't dance but did my best at ballet. I've received meds for my lungs and I could go on long walks. Yesterday I've received an epilepsy medication and I've just got done practicing the charleston at 70 bpm. This. Feels. SO NICE! All my issues are sorted out, now I can set the dance floor on fire 😂

I miss dancing. Grew up in a family that did this in my uncle's backyard (built a dance floor) every weekend. Good food and music. It was a blast.

No, stfu please. A lot of people would love to learn it, but have you heard of crazy school that give you more work to do than usual ? And there's also people that just... Physically can't ? Like WOW ! Some people are handicaped !! THAT'S FUCKING INCREDIBLE !!! Not everyone is physically valid !!!
@glyndas7513 жыл бұрын
@@windcrystal1349 I feel sorry for you, maybe they should teach you how to have a sense of humor. I don’t know how to do this dance either lol it was just supposed to be a compliment. Why do I have to stfu? You can’t handle other people’s opinions? Calm down
