Kuwait, the famous Friday Market, Souq Al Juma in Kuwait City. Let's visit the traditional open air Friday Market (or, Souq Al Juma) which operates from early morning till evening on Fridays, just outside Kuwait City, selling everything from second-hand furniture, to clothes, carpets, antiques, electronics, livestock of various types, and more.
The place to buy everything from Afghan coats and antiques to a secondhand sofa, the enormous semi-covered market of Friday Market or Souq Al Juma is a shopping extravaganza - but, more importantly, it offers a look at Kuwaiti life across the board. Shuffle between dusty rails of abayas (full-length robe-like dresses) and meet good-natured vendors with insight into the nation's affairs.
Kuwait, an Arab country on the Persian (Arabian) Gulf, has cultural heritage dating back to antiquity. Kuwait City, the capital, is known for its modern architecture, ranging from skyscrapers to the striking Kuwait Towers, water towers whose design recalls the tiled domes of a classic mosque. The Tareq Rajab Museum houses a rich collection of ethnographic artifacts and Islamic art.

Good review! I found many interesting things in Friday Market. Though I must add, if you are stubborn enough you can actually find high quality clothes, you just have to dig deeper. Another thing - there are many vintage stuff, reminders of 20th century Arab history. For every true lover of flea markets this is A MUST SEE!
