GUYS season 2 was amazing! I loved that they discussed much more mature/adult topics this time around
I wanted to make an edit for Victor and Benji because I can’t stop thinking about them. I really hope the show gets renewed for another season so we can find out who Victor chooses!

They have to be endgame! I don't think the showrunners and the writers realized how successful they really were by creating and casting these two. It's magic and you video shows us why. Just amazing. From the first moment Victor laid eyes on him, not even know if Benji was Gay. It was as if lightning stuck.

There is one interview where the writers say that they do have a basic outline in their heads regarding where they want the show to go, who they want who to end up with etc. So my guess is Venji have been set up to be endgame from the beginning. That is why they gave Benji such a hard backstory to have them grow individually and as a couple to beat the odds eventually. That could also include other love interests. I think that is also the reason why they adjusted Benji's age in Season 2 (he was supposed to be older in S1)...so that they can have George in the show until they go off to college...but that is just my guess...let us see where this is going...

@@craiggugel2875 Yes, they even showed his birth date on his driver's license in S1. So Benji should be older than Victor not younger. But when he says "a couple of 16 year olds" it could mean that he just turnt 16 or that it was his 17th birthday (and he just said it because it was easier than saying "a 16 and a 17 year old", then he would be older than Victor). Either way, I think they adjusted the age on purpose...Excited to see where this is going...

Yes, I agree. If you do not look beyond the surface Benji is acting like a jerk in season 2. A spoiled rich kid with a lot of attitude. If you look further you see that Benji is suffering from various traumas, too scared to open up and full of self-loathing because of his past. Also he seems to be distant not only from his father but also from his mother. He is not ready to share the part that he hates of himself with anybody, not even Victor. He did say some very wrong things along the line, but so did Victor as well.. They need to try and communicate! But that is just my opinion.

If Victor is not back with Benji by series finale, that would send a very damaging message ... and not just to gay males of this age group. Essentially, that young gay males are incapable of enduring, and of making compromises and sacrifices for love. They are, ultimately, incapable of being faithful and loyal. That someone like Victor - after being struck by lightning at the first sight of Benji, of pining for him all through S1 while still holding on to the belief that he was straight and in love with his girlfriend - would have gone through the "character development arc" through S2, only to trade Benji for a guy he barely knows. Reinforce the perception that many gay men are frivolous. Easily distracted by eye candy. Incapable of monogamy. Cannot endure and fight through the hardships of a serious relationship. And these traits start early - in their teens. A sad and depressing message. Even if Victor ultimately ends up single - because he's still growing and clearly not ready to be in a relationship, the damage is done if the writers allow Victor to leave Benji for Rahim. Before ultimately breaking up with him as well.

I have a theory. If the person behind this door is Benji, i think they will not be endgame. I think if he's in fact behind this door, they will try to get back together, but it won't work, so they will broke up eventually. However, if the person behind the door is Rahim, i think Benji and Victor will have a chance to be back together at the end of season 3, because Victor and Rahim will have a relationship for a while, but Victor will figure out that the person who he really loves is Benji. I know this may be some super cliché theory but i think it's coherent with the storyboard :)

Well, now that we know that Season 3 is also the final season which only contains 8 episodes my idea is the following: I honestly don't think they make Vahim endgame but of course I could be wrong. I think it is Benji's door but when Victor explains what happened at the wedding Benji no longer wants to be with him: "I can't trust you". Then there for sure will be a time jump (hopefully all the characters will get some kind of growth) and maybe they go the Vahim starting something route but I think with this little time they decide to be friends only and then at the end you have Venji back together (would also make sense with the carneval setting and wrapping up the series in a nice way, but that is just my opion of course)...We will see what happens. Of course your theory makes sense as well...
