One thing I appreciate about COC churches, is that it seems like there’s a surplus of men leading or on the pulpit. Especially in a time where men aren’t coming to church anymore. It’s so hard to get men to come to and lead at my church.

Same at my congregation. We lost our preacher last October and it's been me and five other men doing the sermons and I look at some other men not doing anything and it isn't fair. I don't mind getting up but all men in any congregation should be required to participate in the worship service. No exceptions. Their excuse is they're not good speakers or comfortable. Neither was Paul. He said so in his writings but he did anyway.

I feel sad my congregation at times doesn't have as much zeal as I see from all the videos from this channel. Not really big on the clapping but I at times wonder why the elders at my congregation refuse to at the very least allow songs on the projectors and it mind boggles me why we aren't allowed to have a KZbin channel for sermons preached. Then they wonder why people are either leaving and attending elsewhere. I get a fear of letting certain unscriptural things in but one of the neighboring congregations does all those things and they're getting so big they have to expand their building and they're even stricter in regards to kitchens etc in the building. I get so encouraged seeing these videos pining for feeling that where I attend. Again, nothing against any of the people there. Good Christians but being online is an absolute necessity today.
