Victor Conte details the illegal drug program and calendar he created for former U.S. Olympic track star, Marion Jones, and says he believes the overwhelming majority of athletes she was competing against at the 2000 Summer Olympics were also using performance enhancing drugs. Plus, Conte offers his opinion that the International Olympic committee was right to strip Jones of her five medals.

Her teared apologizing face disgusted me so much as I recalled how much we trusted her as she criticized ppl doping. Not to mention the many races that I cheered her on: Diamond League, Sydney Olympics, Worlds and am not even an American - her radiant smiles were contagious. The let down was so HUGE HUGE that I cudn't watch female track & field for years until Allyson emerged... The fact is, I still believe she has talent and did enough hard work to win 90% of the medals (if not 100%) that she doped to win, but guess we'll never find out n what she did has discounted all that. Victor is obnoxious.....

@@CHEETAH69 Yes. I know she cheated etc...but certainly the sport, and sports in general are now, and have been filled with Juice. Baseball players, professionally, for example, while crucified as professionals, most of them keep their HS stuff like nothing happened. On top of it all, pretty much all Track and Field was doping; including the greatest of them all: Usain Bolt. This is now pretty much a fact. I just think her HS stuff should be separate from everything else that happened.

Marion got 6 months in jail and lance Armstrong sues everyone on the planet who disagreed with him and gets to walk off into the sunset. Yes, he lost his sponsors and had to sell his Texas ranch to settle lawsuits. But you can tell he still thinks he was wronged. As an Australian, I stayed up many a late night to watch the tour. When I saw lance chase down Simeone for testifying against his dr and then signal to the camera to keep quiet was probably the most arrogant thing I’ve seen in sport. What an asshole!

The bad part of this is that Victor is a limited resource. He’s only blowing the whistle on people and situations he feels burned by or people that can’t hurt him. There’s some truth here but it goes much deeper than this. Ultimately a source like this is only the tip of the iceberg. He’s human and he has many interests here other than facts and truth, he’s only beholden to good and the truth to a certain extent. It’s going to take other people to dig deeper

As a parent of a D1 athlete I care. If you give up and say let them all take it, then any kid who wants to compete at D1 is basically forced to fuck up their health regardless of the sport. I think there are enough kids in certain sports who are honest and true athlete that don’t cheat today so that kids who don’t want to be drug addicts can still compete. That may be a different story when it comes to the Olympics or going pro-I don’t know.

@Firstname Lastname It's telling that despite all the advancements we have now in terms of supplements, diets, nutrition and ahem illegal drugs, that her world record from 1988 is STILL standing until this day. Conte mentioned in another part of his interview with Graham that he was told by several sources that Flo Jo DID fail more than one test but it was all hushed up but she was told to retire early as testing was going to step up a notch and they couldn't keep covering for her.

@Firstname Lastname Oh I know they do. I laugh when everyone points fingers at Russia and demands they be banned from the sport for 'cheating'. Unpopular opinion but look at Jamaica as an example, a lot of their athletes records to me are highly suspect yet no one really demands that an investigation happens to them because the athletes are likeable and people see Jamaica as a 'faun' country. Whereas people see Russia as the bogey man and their athletes as commie scum who deserve what they get.

Flo Jo took 11 drug testing 1988.. I personally have never heard of a athlete being tested like that.. that is beyond random drug test.. 11 drug test in one year is more drug tests randomly than the entire nation of Jamaica in the year 2010... Flojo never fail the drug test in her life or death.. why would you even mention her... They are talking about "the clear" that was developed in 1998 by Patrick Arnold .. Patrick Arnold was a junior in high school in 1988 that have nothing to do with flojo.. anything anything to discredit flojo

@@WelshSwan1986 the sources that told you flojo failed a drug test are liars. Or that's just your imagination. Which 9 times out of 10 it is... flojo have never failed a drug test in her life. Here's a fact for you flojo took 11 drug tests in 1988 that's a fact.. she passed each and every one of them.... so that's where you are that's what you doing with your life.. creating a fake name fake page on KZbin.. literally lying on a deceased woman... You're a sad human being you a lonely person...

@@matthewjohnson6261 i am offended by Hugo's comment. I am trying to say to him that she has dominant genes and she is still all woman. There is nothing wrong with a woman that resembles her father its called being an offspring.
