Back then an aboriginal genocide centre, and now it is a dump. Whilst it looks charming to us, it wasn’t so charming for the actual occupants. 1837 was a major solution in Encounter Bay that killed off most of the aboriginals but there were many other killings thoughout the history of Victor Harbor. We found some bones with the traditional garment whilst digging sand castles on the shore in 2009 and it was a memory I wish I didn’t have.
