My dad and I... we don't have the best relationship. It wasn't always that way, but he just doesn't seem to care now that he's got a new family and his old one has grown up and no longer abides by his restrictions or ideals. My older sibling doesn't really have too much of a bond with him, but I lived with the man 7 years more. I was mentally conditioned to obey the strict and unreasonable rules of that household by his new wife my stepmother, who was horrible to me. To this day, I feel like a cyborg, discarding old programming. But despite everything, I still love him. Still want to make him proud. Still want to be his son. This song encapsulates all that I truly feel about him. He makes me so mad, but only because I love him and want to see him again and to see that he's committed to me. That he still loves his son.

I really liked the end of Sonic Frontiers, where Eggman looks at the beach with a shower of stars. He is sad because of Sage's "death". It was amazing to see a more human side of Eggman and also showing for the first time a more sensitive side of the villain of the Sonic franchise, but then he recovers Sage.
