I think Victor should be smarter than this.. My understanding is that he brought his in-law in the deal to get some commission out from his agent, which is illegal. Maybe he promised to pay some money to the in-law from the commission but he heard some gossips from the in-law changed his mind. The problem here is: If his in-law takes this case to FIFA, then Victor is in trouble because he will have to explain how and why he took commission from his agent. So, FIFA will mandate him to pay that money to his in-law, because there’s an evidence that the agent paid the money to his in-law as commission. If Victor claims, the money is not his in-law’s money, then he will explain why his agent paid the money in the first place.. He will explain why he asked his in-law to remit the money to him.. You can’t be a footballer and make profits as commission for your transfer deal. He needs to call his in-law and stop this now. If his in-law goes to FIFA he will get into trouble and a lot of club will be tag his a fraud.. He played smart game on his agent, maybe his in-law became greedy, he should just pay him off and avoid the bigger problem.

It is a failure of the system in Nigeria. If the said ammount was duly paid to Mr Osita as wages for his services as a manager during a transfer deal of his client (Victor Oshimeh), the office of Mr. Osita should have paid between thirty to sixty percent of that ammount to the Federal Inland Revenue (FIR) in taxes - this is a standard in Europe and I suppose in Nigeria as well. One thing we need to understand about family's, especially those that are living in Nigeria, once they see that you're outside the country, all they hope will be on you, even they put a lot of burden in you without caring if you're suffering right there or not, even when you give them money, they won't appreciate it, because all they say is that you are carrying money in abroad, there's no money you gave them that will be enough, but that is by the way, this case is different, victor is a footballer, and everybody knows that a lot of money involved in football, and you have made the already, so I see no reason why you should not help your family, and in the case of your in law who you use as your personal manager, you need to act fast before the case get to FIFA, because you will be suspended internationally

Do you know that it's only this in law and the wife complaining. If you hear what they have gotten from Victor which are all on records, you will marvel. Other brothers and sisters came and said Victor's has been supporting them from day one and has build houses for them. The sister said the first salary of victir in Europe when he was not earning much. He used it to build house fir the dad and gave them all money enough to establish them and still do it. It's a complex issue, even many Nigerian immigrants doing 3 jobs (to catch up with western bills) are trying to figure out the best way to reward the mouths that fed them. Personally, having family members in "partnership businesses" is not doable - I have seen how that can split family members if things go south. I have done well with hiring family members as just employees with no commission.

I feel like Osita is hiding something. This look to me like an arrangement by Victor to get some money off the agent. It seems Victor brought Osita in to get that comission to himself and give a certain amount to him. I don't believe his reason for transferring the money to Osime. That he had to transfer the exact amount to him shows there's an agreement between them.
