Sadly most of people in this world dont give a shit about music. At this level you have some good musicians from every country listening and talking about this. Only some people play bass, just a few dominate it. Those who understand how hard bass is, get what I am trying to say. 1 Bar.

@@burrito3.0it’s much easier on a fretless bass, on one of those you just hit the harmonic, then press slightly harder and slide it. It’s possible on fretted bass but it requires a much more precise amount of pressure

Perhaps pinkie on the G string? I'm no expert though.
@TheVirIngens4 жыл бұрын
Don't think he did that. But should you ever see a need for bending harmonics, it can be done quite easily, at least for lower harmonics, octave and fifth. Just push the string where it doesn't vibrate, so for the octave harmonic on the G string, push or pull on the string exactly above the 12th fret.
@sergioibarra34614 жыл бұрын
Andres Vera it’s a slide harmonic, you basically play the harmonic, press on the fret like the actual metal piece where the harmonic is and you slide, the harmonic should slide like a normal fretted note, this sounds better on fretless bass where there’s no frets to interfeer

@Number4Bass they were both masters of their styles. Cliff Burton helped define metal bass as a lead instrument that could play solo lines and use distortion, rather than sit in the back of the band playing the root. also, his classical training brought a more harmonic sensibility to the music. for example, listen to Orion, especially during the guitar melody in the bridge.
