Elena Love It is. I’m primarily a metalhead, and so I don’t really listen to this kind of music much, but what makes me want to check out someone’s art is how humble they are. Someone’s personality and energy shines throught to their art, no matter how much they think it doesn’t. In the metal circles I usually find myself, there’s always a sense of community, family even. Artists are more prone to make these connections with fans because they’re simply not as big and attract smaller crowds, and with smaller crowds usually comes a more raw sense of dedication. Not saying pop artists can’t have loyal fanbases, I’m saying the word “fan” is stripped of all meaning during moments like this one, and it’s indeed all too rare. I’m always looking for the “real” in people, and it really doesn’t get more real than this. If the entire music industry looked like this, the world truly would be a better place.

P!nk was so sincerely in awe of vic. Ive been to 7 concerts of p!nks and that was the loudest point in all of them.
