When Victoria did the Beckham Netflix documentary she said living in Spain was the unhappiest time of her life. However, in this interview, she says she was really happy. Now we know she wasn't happy at all but was putting on a brave face for her family. She hid her unhappiness very well.

Yes, except that this interview was at the beginning of their time in Spain, so everything was still exciting. I think perhaps it was only as time went on and things unfolded, and in retrospect, that it could be realized and said that it was an unhappy time.
