This is the second day of our stay at this small beautiful Georgia State Park. As I mentioned in the Day 1 video, this trip had been a long time coming as we had been home isolating since the beginning of March. It was so good to get out in nature again. This video documents our daily activity as we relax around the campsite and go off exploring the nearby trails.

This was absolutely lovely. We enjoyed visiting your camp site and watching you cook and the sense of humor and to see the beautiful surroundings. We have only been through Georgia briefly on travel through the states. And such a wonderful close on your video to praise the Lord at meal time. Thank you so much for sharing with us.

I always appreciate your cooking/eating segments in the vids. Is that an induction cook plate? Our fav places to camp are in state parks, as well, so I usually cook in an electric skillet. I'm wondering about the pros and cons of using each. I don't *need* an induction plate but I'm thinking I *want* one. Ha! The video was lovely; scenery gorgeous. Thank you for sharing! :-)

Hi Rhonda :-) Electric skillets are fairly big and bulky and cost about the same if not more than the induction cook top. We paid $36 for the 18 inch induction cook top. We purchased it early 2018 and it's traveled with us everywhere we got and it works great. It's rated at 1800 watts but I never set it higher than 1100 (and it cooks very fast). This is helpful when using our little Honda generator. To me, these work by magic .... you have to have a pan that a magnet will stick to and setting it on the cook top the pan gets real hot real quick. Ironically, the cook top itself does not heat the food with heat, it doesn't get very hot at all. Once you remove the pan and let the cook top cool just a bit for about a minute, you can wipe it off and put it away. It actually has a fan that turns on to help cool it quickly. Electric skillets aren't supposed to be submerged in water so clean up can be a bit dicey. The ordinary fry pan used with the cook top doesn't have any limitations when it comes to clean up . The cook top stores nicely as there are no handles of any kind sticking out anywhere.

Haven't eaten any meat in 50 years now. It's just a choice I made long ago, just like you and everyone else on the planet :-) Caveman was great and that's where Ringo met his wife Barbara Bach who both by the way were vegetarians at the time :-). That was 1981 .... The Magic Christian is a 1969 British satirical black comedy film starring Peter Sellers and Ringo Starr, with appearances by John Cleese, Graham Chapman, Raquel Welch, Spike Milligan, Christopher Lee, Richard Attenborough and Roman Polanski. Ringo is a down and out homeless vagabond living out of a sleeping bag in the park when Sir Guy Grand (Sellers) decides to adopt the young rapscallion and teach him the ways of aristocracy. Includes an awesome soundtrack with songs from Thunderclap Newman .... "Here it is come and get it" and Badfinger. Very much a reflection of the 60s.

@@TravelswithYoly My niece is a pescatarian? The Magic Christian sounds interesting with quite the cast. Your description makes me wonder if "Trading Places" with Dan Aykroyd and Eddie Murphy was an adaptation?
@TravelswithYoly

@@CITAP1 Actually we are also pescatarian (since 1985 anyway). I jokingly refer to us as pisciverous vegetarians as it means the same thing , as in the variation of "carnivorous" with the Greek root word pisces, meaning fish eater. Trading Places was also a great movie with similar tones but very conservative compared to The Magic Christian (way, way more bizarre) :-)

@@TravelswithYoly AH HA! The Truth Comes Out... That's good, you can enjoy a Halibut or Anchovy pizza. There's a place here called IVAR's, they make the IVAR DOG, a Halibut hotdog. VERY TASTY!

@@CITAP1 Yes, the west coast has all kinds of great Halibut options (my favorite fish) like Halibut fish tacos. Unfortunately its too expensive for our budget so I get to eat it about once every 5 years.
