Mad respect for learning how to ride a bike on national television (and picking it up pretty quick honestly!)

i wonder if she ever rode horses and that might have help with balance. if so she might have been better off only standing on the pedals like the stirrups of on a horse. she must have a good sense of balance to pick it uip so quickly.

Try to relax, it’s a lot easier than when you’re tense. If you’re tense, you over-correct too much. Riding is actually smoother than walking, so maybe your dyspraxia won’t hinder you as much as you fear it will. You can do it. Will you come back and tell us how you made out?

Fellow dyspraxic, just wanted to add to help positive thoughts and overcome the stereotype. I was able to learn to ride a bike probably took longer than most people but it’s doable. Keep your head up and don’t look at your feet, look where you are aiming to be, practise pedalling on a stationary bike so you’ve got the motion of pedalling understood already. Good luck 🤞

I'm with you on this. As long as your tongue is right you can drink. I think part of it is from learning to chug a pint of water from an early age. Then there's the "after dentist numbness I hope I don't bite my lip" method of swallowing. Or drinking from the kitchen tap with your mouth open and head sideways. Not being able to drink this way is unexpected.
@scottydog13132 жыл бұрын
