I don't know if you also play bass or not but look at all the big bands like Metallica, Nirvana, Imagine Dragons, MM etc. Their bass lines are even more simple. You can play two notes and still serve a song. Plus you can't play a bass like you play a guitar, there is a huge difference.

all these poeple not realizing, it takes more than reading someone elses tab, she WRITES her parts for maneskin, you or someone you know who plays bass does not, yall can read tabs all day long but if you cant improvise or write your own music then you're not that good, as well as not only knowing how to play the instrument you also have to know what sounds good in a song, which she extremely excells at

She comes up with random notes on repeat, rest of the band makes a song out of that incipit / idea. It works wonders. It's unique. Songs are built around and on the bass, and you can hear its dominant presence a lot, while on other groups bass is an aftertought you don't pay much attention to. This is a very extravagant way of compositing, that contributes to måneskin uniqueness and originality. Vic is the glue, the inspiration, the energy of the band. The boys need a lot of patience to deal with her, but there would be no måneskin without her. She's the leader.

Si ragazzi brava e bella tutto quello che volete. Hanno trovato la formula giusta che funziona e sono d'accordo ma ora scrivere "blessing our ears" mi pare esagerato. Un Pastorius poteva farlo, un King, un Wooten, un Entwistle e potrei continuare....Ma la ragazza è giovane e ha ancora tanta strada prima di dire che ci benedice l'udito. Non voglio fare l'hater che non sono anche perchè li apprezzo e li ho visti anche live e devo dire, che il palco lo sanno tenere eccome, effetto mediatico a parte. Io sono una fan della band e penso che negli anni Ethan e Thomas siano migliorati parecchio.
