Bulgaria was so far one of my favourite countries especially since Poli Genova with If Love Was A Crime. Then a year after Kristian Kostov came and blessed our hearts with his song Beautiful Mess - he was the true winner btw! In 2018 I was so sad because Bones was sooo underrated, Equinox definitely deserved a place in top5. I understood why Bulgaria did not want to participate the contest in Tel Aviv but now, after 3 years I can see that every Eurovision Song Contest needs Bulgaria participating. something about this song just felt better to me, ever since it was released. I can't believe I've been so stupid. So blind. So deaf. Despite the majestic arrangements and all, I just didn't get it at first, on release day. And then, looking back, I didn't give it a fair chance. I listened to it from time to time, but apparently not enough to really notice it. Nice song, I thought, but I prefered most of her other ones. I'm so grateful that Victoria went with her heart. Having spent hours trying to figure it out on the piano today, I really appreciate just how beautiful the melody is. @@Nickeeefy det är förstås en risk, men någonting säger mig att denna borde sticka ut rejält jämfört med övriga bidrag. De flesta är ju upptempo medan denna är så finstämd. Dessutom är ju denna videon (sannolikt i närheten av hur det kommer bli live) mer klart mer fängslande än den första. Så kanske, kanske kan det få folk att "fatta" redan vid första eller andra lyssningen, på den stora scenen.

This is a beautiful song with so much meaning! I recently lost both of my grandparents and it really felt like my world was breaking. Everything I took for granted as a child is slowly slipping through my fingers. This song reminds us that we have to seize the moment and live in the present because it's gone before we know it. We have to take every opportunity to show our family we loved them because who know what tomorrow might bring, right? Most of us are rushing through their childhood wanting to grow up and when we finally do, we look back to the past with a sense of nostalgia... After two rough years for all of us I think the song has the perfect message - keeping waking up, keep going because life is worth living and there's always light at the end of the tunnel. Victoria's performance at Eurovision was pure and genuine! She sang from her heart and soul. Vicky showed us that when music is good it doesn't need to be covered with glitter or featuring colourful designer outfits and all that. Let's also not forget that Eurovision is a lot about politics, diplomacy etc. which corrupts good music. MUSIC IS NOT A COMPETITION. Good luck Victoria and I am sure this was only just the beginning for you!
