Battle Notes: 1. Aside from plain favoritism, Topsy-Turvy Malamar was chosen because of how a certain early-game event turned Victoria's life 'upside-down', shifting her from a very balanced person to bent on revenge. In theory this fit very well with the theme, but it may just be that. Even picking a good nickname fell through. 2. Making a team of only gray Pokémon is a fairly simple idea, but I genuinely don't know what I was thinking with the battle itself. Machamp was there just to atomize the last Pokémon, that much is still familiar, but everything else feels inefficient. I couldn't even replicate the fight to resolve audio issues like many of the others, Ferrothorn would reach the same HP as before but Victoria would send Meloetta instead of Medicham. I'm not sure if the AI improved or this was due to an item being changed. 3. I chose Cinccino for A Change of Pace because I'd never used it in this game, and a lot of the generic trainers showed how effective it could be. That said, the little guy clearing the entire team was pretty unexpected! The name F.E.A.C. is a reference to a popular strategy with Rattata. While Cincinno wasn't nearly as overpowered here, if you know you know.
