Despite the absurdity, she even manages to make this rendition sound strangely emotional! I will always love Victoria Wood

Rebecca Hatton I put Victoria Wood as one of the best singing guests on the show in what I call The Jack Dee Years (with Rob Brydon and Tony Hawks), while at the other end of the spectrum you have Jeremy Hardy, John Finnemore and Stephen Fry.

I still find it hard to accept that we will never see her again. What a beautiful human being she was.

Oh how easy it is to take for granted the genius of people around us and for how long or rather how little time we might enjoy that genius for. I'm a London born lad, but she makes me wish at times that I was born in Lancashire!

In floods here. Only she could make such preposterous lyrics sound meaningful and somehow poignant, and even more so now that she's left us.

“Until the sun goes down” indeed. Scintillating, sparkling woman who we will never see again. She was truly a one-off.

Such a sad loss to all of us, but more importantly to her family and close friends. KZbin will always be there for us all to remember how brilliant she was. RIP

Wonderful! FYI 'ABC Cafe/Red and Black' is entirely interchangeable with 'Doe, a Deer'.
