Question: with the liquid lipsticks we are always using isododecane or isododecane remix to make it more matte. Now I’m addicted to using isododecane remix lolz. Is it a good idea to substitute it for some of the oils to make the bullet lipstick more matte? Thank you!!!

Two questions Queen. 1. Did you add tour lipstick base with the mixture you made in the beginning? 2. Is it okay to use the mica powder instead of the colored liquid drops?

Great Questions The one is the beginning that I made is the exact same base. I just wanted to show how it looks once stored and reused. Also I forgot to add me adding a preservative, I put the directions in the description box below. Also you can absolutely use mica just be sure to mix well so that all of the traces of pigment are gone. I prefer using the concentrated version because it’s a better mix with a cleaner end result 💕 I hope this helps

Thank you 💕 it makes 10-12 lipsticks (the one demonstrated in this video) But the 8 oz bullet base for purchase makes 10. I do add a preservative (Preservative Cap 2 , 2 drops) and no it does not have to be refrigerated when stored, only when you’re making the actual bullet once it’s placed in the mold💕

When adding isododecane always add more pigment to balance out the oils. Also yes you can use the micas for lipsticks as well. Keep in mind my formula is more of a moisture matte so it will never dry down hard❤️ thanks for your love and incredible support 😊

Thank You! I find that using the metallic bubble mailers (any color) do an amazing job a keeping the products from melting. I’ve used them to ship all of my lip products including the lipstick bases and they worked like a charm over the years.
