How lucky your guests are to be invited to such a beautiful table! You are so creative in your mixing and matching of patterns and colors. Since you put so much effort into your tablescape, l would suggest a trip to the grocery store and picking up some fresh flowers, together with some garden cuttings you would make a lovely and ''fresh;'' display, it would be so much nicer and it would smell fantastic.

The pearl-like cups I believe are called lustreware. The pink swirl stemware glasses might be from France they are called Arcoroc Rosaline, and sometimes they are marked France on the bottom.

Delightful! I love all the beautiful pieces you found as well as those you already had. While I have pink and rose items I use trees as my theme. I was gifted a set of Nikko "Christmastime" by my sister years ago. Since then I have collected so many tree dishes, tea pots, shakers, candle holders, etc. There are some that are the "Christmastime" but most are not. I just mix and match. I use glasses with holly and gold around the rim. Love your plaid tablecloth and the way you layered it with other pieces. And those cranberry plates are adorable. Think I must steal some of your ideas this year! I'm getting excited to go thrifting! Oh BTW I have nutcracker place card holders!

Iam in love with tea cups and tableware, the roses looks like Limoge, I think the pink goblets are from France from arcoroc I think is colled Rosalind. Hi Rachel, What a wonderful video...the tea party table came together tastefully...my English grandmum would have felt right at home! Did you serve scones with jams and clotted cream...i made clotted cream once ....what a disaster ! Luckily we have English shops in Canada and I was able to buy some. .loved your Christmas village! It put me in mind of Churchill, Manitoba when I spotted a polar bear in the village...real polar bears wander into the town and they capture them ever so carefully LOL! they even have a polar bear jail ,check them out eh! and then fly them away to where they're supposed to be this if you can believe it happens practically many times a week! Lovely! I bought my first teacup in a shop in Santa Fe, NM more than 30 years ago now. It had the three feet which is what caught my attention. I also found a smaller version at the same time. I guess it would be a demitass set. Didn't know if your video was reversed or not, but just for future reference, the fork and napkin should be placed to the left of the place setting. Gotta get those details juuuust right😊. Cant wait to see what you do for Christmas 2022.

I would like to know what you served at your tea party and how did you manage it logistically? The table is lovely as always. I enjoyed the shopping trip. In the past, have passed up many of the things you used on your table , because there were only one or two pieces from a pattern or collection. I won’t do that anymore! I will buy the pieces and mix and match them!. Do you do anything special for the men during the holidays? One more thing, I believe you would enjoy a tea cart and maybe even a silver tea service. You should state your intention to thrift one , then sit back and enjoy what the universe sends your way!

Good afternoon, Miss Shirley! I'm glad you enjoyed the Christmas tea party and picked up some ideas for hosting one of your own!. I don't remember exactly what I served, but I always include a range of easy-to-eat foods since the girls I invite are often very young. There is always a choice of sweet (usually a shortbread cookie), and savory (usually quiche), for the guests to choose from. If you're looking for ideas Pinterest would be good place to search. I hope this helps!
