I love how your thrifted items bring a uniqueness to your decor and your attention to detail makes it all the more lovely. The curtains are such a beautiful backdrop.

As much as I used to like the paintings of the men wearing red coats and black boots on horseback, surrounded by Beagles, I was HORRIFIED when I found out what they were doing and how they did it! How in the world is that a thing? Yikes!

I love your decorations and arrangements. I can give you a tip about the round candle holder: if the candles - which look ornamental - are too thin, you can surround them with some playdough or chewing gum so they won't wobble. 🎄🎁🎀🔔 🦌

Ah, the Cotswold's. I left my heart there. I shopped Portobello Rd. in London and dream about it constantly, ever since.

I hear you! My heart is there as well! And if I could have taken everything I wanted from Portabello road, I’d have had to ship a crate!

The horn above the fox picture - is a hunting horn; used to rally the dogs, that a fox has been spotted, then they are "whipped" in and left to tear it to pieces. The first time a child fox hunts it is "bloodied", the fox's blood is smeared on the childs' face. This is still a practice of the monied class, traditionally on Boxing Day, many people "follow" the hunt, while the fox is chased to exhaustion, an archaic practice, when there are far more humane ways of killing "vermin" - as farmers call them. An unfortunate juxtposition for your Christmas decor. Just thought I would let you know, as I am British !!

Yes. My brother in law is British. I feel like he would be cringing seeing some of the symbolism going on here. I’m not usually one to leave critical comments. But I empathize with any Brits who may be watching

Most of your decor is more 'wintery' than christmas-y which I think is just lovely and i hope you enjoy it way past Christmas day! Also, I'm wondering if birds can enjoy the pomanders when you're done with them 🤔 Beautiful video ❤

Very pretty. Many house fires begin in the kitchen, at the stove. Please place ceramic and non flammable near the range, and move books, handing banners etc to the other side away from the stove. ❤

Could you share which sound file you used from epidemic sound? I keep hearing it in videos everywhere and I think it sounds so much like one scene in Edward Scissorhands lol It's playing around the 20 min mark

It’s called “A Leaf Falls” by Howard Harper-Barnes. I thought it sounded like Edward Scissorhands too!

@bettermeblossomingАй бұрын
I do. It’s a problem lol
@corrinenolan344Ай бұрын
British people dont decorate that way. Would be a lot prettier done traditional. Looks like a lot of british stuff but just put around everywhere. My grandmother would have had a shelf with a saucer on a stand and the cup sitting in front. Maybe a ribbon here or there but mostly on garland. Seems commercialized.

Too much store bought stuff. Christmas too commercialized!
