We crossed paths on this trip. The motley crew on mainly dr650s at the Dargo pub. I gotta admit, I tend to write off big adv bikes but you guys did a lot of the same stuff we did. Luckier with the weather too! And this video production is top notch. Hats off to you all.

Hey GazGaz, yes, I remember the motley crew on the DRs. I smiled at the comment about writing off the big adv bikes..... I can totally understand that, although the group I ride with have put good protection on the bikes, and we don't mind flogging them and dropping them. We even unbolted the cappuccino machine off the back for this ride ;-). Yes we were pretty lucky with weather, and I'm glad you liked the video.

Mate love it. I grew up in Deddick valley about 15 mins from the bridge. A great bit of history and river is great swimming in summer. I still have a scare on my nose from hitting the seat in front of me when a tourist was on the “wrong side of the road” and ran into our car - hard to say wrong side because the roads won’t really even fit 1.5 cards wide! Was a great childhood and only 15 kids in the Tubbut primary school in the early 90’s with myself and 2 brothers being 3 of them! Shows the need to be on the left as much as possible and how bad it could have been if he went off the edge- end of the road so to speak! Honestly fantastic effort with the videos and makes me want to come home from Western Australia and show my kids the great countryside of VIC high country- true Billy goat county! Next time try visit the old tin and copper mine out the back of Deddick springs farm- was a long time ago I went out there with my Dad and brothers. Steve

Gotta love the Ténéré 700. While everyone is chucking along the T7 is like a little kid plying in the dirt and having fun jumping around, running, and just loving it. No traction control, no fancy electronic, no excessive unneeded weight, and no BS. Just you and the bike on a trail. What the bike does is entirely up to you and your skills, not a computer. In the best review of the T7 I've seen, the man said that the T7 comes with one major problem from the factory. It comes with a little demon who whispers in your ear to go after and after. The bike just doesn't know where it's limits are at. It really does think that it's more capable that it really is, Poor thing! Seriously though, the bike really is that good. So good of roading it really does make you feel like going faster and faster, and if you don't tell that little demon to shut up, I am sure you can definitely run into trouble. Oh well, no bike is perfect 🤪 After looking at the Honda African Twin, KTM 790 and 890 adventure, and BMW 1250GS and 850GS, Something just told me that the bike for my Central and South America trip would be the T7. Just got mine two months ago. Riding it off the dealer it's size took some getting used to. Tallest bike I had ever ridden. With zero experience off roading the day I finally did take it off roading it felt so good that it gave me a huge boost of confidence. I remembered what the man said about the little demon and he was right on, I had to tell it to shut up a few times.
