@@seanodriscoll8153 I think that sometimes people who believe also have some scepticism too. I can be very much like that when watching some programs like this. I lived in a house with a resident spirit for 13 years, we never found out who he ( it felt like a he ) was, but there was no ill feeling or malice, he was mostly mischievous, knocking on walls, the bathroom door if you were alone in the house, flushing the loo, turning the tv on, that sort of thing. The only off thing he did was when my oldest daughter was staying with us, she was in on her own and when I came home from work, she said I'd better go check upstairs cos she wouldn't there'd been a loud bang, like a crash. When I went upstairs my youngest daughter's bedside table was upside down in the middle of the room. 2 people saw a grey misty shape like a person, it happened on separate occasions. I moved house 10 years ago and still miss it. Sorry to babble on, I'm just saying believers can be sceptics too.

In the first one they should have shut the portal, learning to live with it prevents him from renting out any sort of the house or living a normal life. I would have enlisted the help of people who could banish the spirits and close the portal. That’s no way to live

I would have dealt with it and even the violent ones I'd see if they were just angry ghosts who want reparation or just plain evil. I have experience with a lot of weird experiences in my own house and some I just talk to. Some that doesn't work with and I had to do a very detailed healing protection ritual that involved a lot of angel/deity evocation, stones crystals, white candles, bay leaves on windowsills and charcoal briquettes all around the outside of the house. I make my house a welcoming haven for neutral and loving spirits. Fir the ones who just want to feed of negative energy or cause harm, they know to stay away. This after ten years of trial and error. That poor guy. Breaking my back is where I draw the line.

Why does the step dad keep saying “several bouts of bad dreams or nightmares several times a night” when the kid clearly said they weren’t nightmares, it was real???? Start listening to your kids. So many of us had tormented childhoods from monsters in the closest or under the bed or looking in the dark night windows always written off as bad dreams. I’m starting to think all kids are more sensitive to seeing ghosts because they haven’t yet been conditioned and dumbed down by society. I had the same thing and looking back now, I’m thinking it was probably real because I remember how real it felt even 40 years ago. So many children still suffer today and will get PTSD from it which I believe I have. For many of my adult years I too believed that they must of been nightmares because that’s what I was taught to believe but now I’m not so sure. More needs to be looked into and done about this wide broad phenomena. Children are being tormented at levels that would give an adult a heart attack- every night and every day/ today. Something must be done

I feel Mark's pain I myself have psychic abilities and I can see both good and negative spirits. You have to train yourself to block out the negative or it will destroy you slowly. While there may have been good and negative spirits in the house to begin with when Ashley started messing with voodoo she made things a lot worse Like the investigators said.
