I just bought a Pandora bracelet I was fitted for 6.7 but I got a 7.1 instead BC I plan on having 17 charms on it. Is that good ?

I am wondering, i got the 14k gold snake chain bracelet, in the 18cm. My wrist mesures almost exactly 16 cm. The lady at the store told me to go two size up so i bough the 18. It's not very thought as i can fit two finger between the bracelet and my wrist. I don't plan on wearing any charms (maybe one or two max) as i love the look of the bracelet as is. Will it still stretch even with no charms?? I wonder if i should have gone with a 17 cm instead??

I’m new to Pandora, and your videos have been so fun and helpful! Thank you! Even though I only got my first bracelet in December, I’ve already filled it up! I’m so addicted to charms now! Haha. I currently have a second bracelet, but it’s a size smaller. The sales associate insisted that I’m 18 cm, which surprised me since another sales associate picked a 19 cm bracelet for me in December. I have only a few charms on the 18, so it’s pretty comfortable and sits well on my wrist. But I’m worried that it’ll be tight when I fill it up. So your video came at a perfect time! The 19 cm bracelet is slightly loose and feels okay now that I’ve added more muranos. (It has 4 now.) So now I’m wondering if I should stick with the 18 size with only a few charms and just buy a 19 when I get closer to filling it up. I hate the idea of buying two sizes, but I feel like I’m between sizes and that might be my only solution. :( Have you heard of anyone doing that, too? (Sorry for the long comment! I tend to get too wordy when I’m excited! Haha)

That means so much to me! ☺️💕 As for your bracelet sizes, I find it's good to have two sizes (add long as both are comfortable) for stacking purposes. The 18 will stretch out, but it depends on the weight and it'll be a small amount. If you really love how the 19 fits and feels, I would even suggest bringing the 18 back into Pandora and seeing if they'll let you exchange for the 19. I know it might be past the return date, but maybe they'll be understanding. Have you measured your wrist as well? That might help confirm too!!! Hope you have a lovely weekend!

fashionstoryteller Hi! I actually did take the 18 cm back to the store to exchange it, and that’s when several of the women there insisted that 18 was my correct size. At first I thought they just didn’t want to exchange the bracelet, but that wasn’t the case since they were happy to exchange it for a different style clasp (I had a hard time closing the heart clasp and replaced it with the pave clasp). I’m actually happy with both size bracelets, now that the 19 cm is full and with 4 muranos (though it’s still on the loose side). I’m just not sure of how many muranos I’m going to add to the 18. But thank you for the advice. I think might just get 19s from now on, especially since I think there are so many gorgeous muranos out there! Speaking of, I can’t wait for the spring collection! The enchanted glass one with the bumblebee is at the top of my list, as well as the teapot and teacup. I’m a huge Alice in Wonderland fan, and those pieces are just perfect! Yes, if you love muranos getting a size up to accommodate more is the best way! I know!!! I am SOOOO excited for the spring collection! I want the rainbow murano, the bubble bee murano, the enchanted tea pot and tea cup...and more. I am in so much trouble, hehe. If you're in Canada or the US, they have the spend more, save more promo happening a week after the release, I believe! :D I love Alice in Wonderland too! I have an old friend who lives near Orlando and has an annual pass to Disney, so he was able to buy it for me! I can’t wait to get it and see it in person! Very informative video, thank you! My 1st bracelet is nou 1 year 4 months old. Wrist measured at 15cm, so Pandora advised I take the 17cm. Strangely though it’s still stiff and when I started filling it up became too tight. So next bracelet I took an 18cm. Pandora said no too big, but I loved the movement and comfort so much I transferred all the 17cm bracelet’s charms to that one. It’s almost filled now, started 2 other bracelets too lol, and both are 18. But I stack with bangles and my Nomination bracelets, so find going up a size is best for me. So now I wear my 17cm with one charm stacked with other bracelets. Different sizes helps with stacking as well. Oh and when I buy bracelets now I ask for a flexible one. In Dec I bought the heart clasp, was so stiff clasp didn’t move so I exchanged for a more flexible one and what a big difference in comfort! Getting my 1st murano’s soon and will see what a difference it makes. Have a lovely week! xo

same with me they adviced an 18 i got one and it felt fine i had to exchange the bracelet as i felt the clasp was too easy to open it didnt feel right and when they gave me the new one it must of been really stiff that it was diging in my arm and everyone said that was my size but i knew it didnt feel right so i went back amd told them lisyen this is the soze u guys told me qmd its digging in my arm amd at times i cant barely close it and the lady re measured me and said yea the next size seems a better fit ..moral of my story always go by whats better for you beter a looser bracelet then something too tight

davian reiss I agree completely. I didn’t know better when I got my first one. Mean I kept thinking it’ll get more flexible with time and by filling it up, ie making it heavier with charms. It didn’t. So I feel a bit bummed being stuck with the still stiff smaller bracelet as I went on multiple Pandora SA’s advice by getting that size. I wore it a lot, it didn’t stretch or become more comfortable. So go with what you’re more comfortable with. Rather go a size up and get murano’s and chunky charms to fit your arm than being stuck with a small and tight bracelet.

Since I measure just under 15 cm, I wonder if that also makes a different too? I find that with my newer bracelets, it takes about a year for them to feel flexible. I can never put too many charm on them, right away or it does become too tight. I completely agree with you! Stacking different sized bracelets is a good point too. I love that you went back and asked for a more flexible one. That is a great tip! One that I think I'm going to use in the future! Because it does take some time for them to become flexible! This is so true, Davian! You know your comfort the best and you have to trust that. Having a bracelet too tight is just painful. I am surprised they would have suggested such a tight fit on you. That is just not right, haha!

Yes, I think it's safer to go up a size and pair it with muranos, etc. to get the comfort and fit you like. When I first went to Pandora, it was 2010? 2011? And the bracelet they gave me was 18 cm. I found that once it was flexible, it just felt too big and it stretched out so much (but I didn't take care of that one, at all). It's also interesting because they never actually measured my wrist. They just put their fingers underneath my wrist and said the size was good. That's why I think it's so important to do your own research too. They will help you make your decision, but you're the expert on what feels the best on you. Anyway, I ended up getting another 18 cm after because I wanted to be able to stack and I also loved the idea of incorporating 4 muranos. I just love muranos, hehe.

My first bracelet was given as a gift, it was the classic. I only had 3 charms on it at first and at the most I had 8 charms. The problem I had with the bracelet was it catching on the tiniest hairs on my arm (I don’t even have hairy arms so it’s odd). Anyway, when the bangle came out I switched all my charms and just keep buying bangles. I am so torn though, the bangle is just too big and it makes it difficult to type while at work. I wear the 7.5 and the next size down is just too tight if I want to wear muranos on it. I love my bracelets but honestly they aren’t comfortable 😩.

i had the same issue were the 7.1 was diging into my arm and now the 7.5 fot fine at the time but now its loose the pinching i would suggest to keep puting charms on it 3 in each section and the pulling will stop and then wear it then

I remember my old Pandora bracelet (my first one) use to catch my arm hairs, but I find I don't have that problem at all now. I'm not sure why...most likely because my bracelets fuller and it prevents the snake chain from catching? Bangles are really nice too...lighter weight, but it can be harder sizing wise! Have you seen Pandora's open bangle? I'm wondering if that would be a more comfortable option for you. I personally haven't tried it out, but I've heard some really good reviews on it! They also have that "mesh" style bracelet which looks like too.

I know this is old but for anyone new reading, if you fill your bracelet enough on each of the three sections itll keep the bracelet from grabbing your arm hairs. It is unfortunate I wanted a simpler bracelet so at one point I took off most of my charms leaving only the middle section full and I was getting waxed for sure.

You technically can! But it is much harder to put on. I would suggest unscrewing (one side) of the safety chain, before you put the bangle on, and screwing it back on after it's on your wrist! xx :)

I personally would stick with the 18cm if you are planning to have a full bracelet of charms! I think it’ll be fine too and comfortable. I wear the 17cm and the 18cm bracelets and both feel comfortable for me. Hope this helps!!!

My wrist is about 14.5 cm and I wear a 17cm Pandora Moments snake chain chain bracelet comfortably with 2 Murano glass beads and full charms. It's my preferred size, however I do go up to a size 18cm if I want to wear more than 2 Murano glass beads on a bracelet design. It really is personal preference. I would say the 17cm snake chain a good option, especially if you don't plan to wear it full of charms, right away...it will have time to lightly stretch. If you can, I always recommend to try both options on in store, so you can get a sense of what feels most comfortable for you! Hope this helps!

I bought my first bracelet about 10 years ago. It was 19cm. I had it well balanced and with clips. It stretched heaps, and as I was slow to fill it, it just always bothered me. I ended up taking it into Pandora and they sent it away and for about 15 AUD took a chunk out. That was a few years ago. I still have it. It's 18.5cm now which is perfect and it's full. I usually get size 18cm now. What I have concluded with my different bracelets is: the bigger it is the more it can stretch. The older non 'o' bracelets stretch more. I remember my arm hair being pulled out too. The old style charms are much heavier than the new ones. Especially the open works are super light. The rose ones are super light also. So with less weight means less stretch. The most my other bracelets have stretched is up to .4 cm but barely. And my rose clasp bracelet which I've had over 1 year nothing. And I had it all in the middle with 2 filigree letters n 2 rose round hearts n a rose dangle and 2 pave heart clips. It didn't even spin as there wasn't enough weight or stretching. I've since changed it up a bit. It is a bit frustrating that I'm ideally an 18.5cm size and an 18cm bangle would be perfect. Thanks for another great and informative video. I have so many bracelets and still watched this beginning to end 😆 I just love watching your videos 💕 . I have twig wrists (14cm) but wear 18 cm bracelets generally, although I think I have one or two 17 cm that I’ve kept to wear with less charms. When I first started collecting I tried wearing 16 and 17 cm bracelets for a few weeks but being my Pandora crazy self I tend to always fill them at least halfway and I like the bracelet to be loose and low on my wrist even when full, so I can roll them back when I’m working or typing! The great thing about Pandora is that they let me exchange the sizes without any fuss when I was figuring out my preference. I remember one poor sales associate sitting with me as I agonized over keeping a 16 cm for a form fitting look over an 18 cm thinking I’d eventually fill it... I went with the 18 and that one is now very full so it was a good call 😆 I find that if I wear a lot of dangles it also feel more comfortable with a larger size.

As for preventing a CZ from falling out, I don’t wear my bracelets when I’m working out, cleaning/dishes, showering, etc. Basically, any activity where you may be more active in. The CZ honestly shouldn’t fall out though, especially if you’re taking good care of your charms! That’s a quality issue and something Pandora would replace!

When I purchase charms etc with cz's now I have a good look and feel that the stones are well set in and the way they should be. I purchased the Pandora rose cz hearts charms and noticed one charm had a cz set in the wrong way. I was wearing them as earrings and could see it sticking out the side funny. I took it back and had it swapped for a different one before it became a problem. My eyes aren't very good close up even with glasses so I use my mobile phone camera and zoom in to make the charms etc large enough to have a good look now. It makes all the difference. I've only ever had 1 cz fall out on a ring and it was a known problem for that ring and I swapped it for something else.

If you have a size 19 moments bracelet (the classic Pandora snake chain bracelet), it will stretch, over time. When it stretches, it becomes bigger. :)

Love this video, what a great idea! I've always felt like I needed an 18, but they don't sell it at my local store, so I'll have to order online. Any thoughts on Chamilia? Happy International Women's Day, Lisa!!! Thank you so much! It is so tough when they don't have the size you need. Online is the best for that...especially if there's a good online promotion going on! I have 3 charms from Chamilia, but sadly no actual bracelet from them! Maybe one day ;) They have such beautiful muranos! I love mine. I would assume the bracelet sizing process would be similar to Pandora!
