Your husband and I may be two of a kind. I once considered giving a friend some money and having her pick out clothes for me! I'm fairly good about clearing out clothes: if they no longer fit (the years and family genetics have finally caught up with my waistline!) it's easy to donate them. Otherwise I'll wear an item until it's wearing out though may only wear it at home where no one sees it but me.

This was a great video. Thanks for sharing. Here in the states we have a "woman's swap night". Usually at church. You would bring your unwanted pieces and exchange or give away to other families. It's a fun way to recycle all your unwanted pieces and hopefully find something new.

My fiancé has 32 suits and 64 button down dress shirts and 200 ties. He’s a tv news anchor man and an obsessive clothes hoarder. Casually, he has probably almost 100 t shirts. And 30 pairs of shoes. I’m planning to do a q&a a little bit later when there will be more people and maybe more questions☺️ English teaching in Russian schools is pretty bad to be honest, although it is in every school here. I’ve been taking a lot of extra classes since I was about 8-9yo and had some nice opportunities to practice real conversations with foreigners. Also I watch a lot of English content, which I think helps me significantly😅

White vinegar is a good stain remover. Good for housecleaning too. The soft clothes can be cut to make cleaning rags. You can throw away rags after awhile

Fun vid:) I don’t have any tips for stain removal, but if you need to remove sweat stains and smell from shirts/tops in the underarm area, make a paste out of a soluble aspirin, baking soda and water. Then spread generously onto the area and leave for 30mins. Put into washing machine or handwash, and afterwards the stain and smell should be gone. The aspirin breaks down the proteins in the sweat. Hope it’s a useful tip😃👍

I'm so glad I watched this. The guilt moved me to go through my shoes and declutter them. I have about 65 pairs of shoes/boots and I wear the same 3 pairs on rotation 🤦🏾‍♀️. I've packed an extra large bag to donate to the thrift store tomorrow morning 😁

New to your channel and really enjoy you and your content. I have been on a minimalism journey for over 7 years now. My husband and I now share a small studio in NYC. As far as stains, I don’t like to use chemicals when washing so I throw baking soda in laundry with whites and add white vinegar with natural soap to soap tray (if separate). However sometimes it’s not enough so once a year I take our favorite whites and soak in Oxiclean for up to 3 days. They always come out like new.
