Nice one Gus. A model I’ve often considered. I love my alox bantam (an EDC for me) - the ultimate slim, sleek slicer - but I actually use the corkscrew on my Explorer (my other daily carry) quite often for all sorts of wee tasks (never yet for opening a cork)

Both knives look good. I few Victorinox does a good job including the tools they feel will be needed on each specific model. I just picked up a Victorinox Floral knife, only the single blade but wow does it snap. Thanks for sharing, Live Long Prosper and Collect Your Own Way!

Hey Kathleen 👊 To remove scratches: 1. Remove Toothpick & tweezers 2. Start with a 240 grit abrasive for approx. 30-60 seconds 3. Then use a 600 grit abrasive ⬇️ Then to polish: 1. Use some plastic or chrome polish, ideally on a buffing wheel, or add to a dense cloth and buff until new 😉 Hope that helps & good luck, ATB 👍

Blade, crab claw tool, corkscrew; all part of the iconic imagery of Victorinox SAKs. I bought a Compact (when it dropped to £35) but I still carry the Waiter (my first knife). I would rate this as the greatest EDC SAK. 84mm, one layer, 12 functions (if you add a pin and mini screwdriver). I’ve looked at other models and always come up with more cons than pros compared to the Waiter.

Hey buddy 👊 It sure is, and great value, too 👌 The Compact is like 3x the price, just for the scissors ✂️ pen 🖊 pin📍and nail file! I think the Compact would sell more if it just added the scissors, so you could sell it for half the price. Moreover, for 50% extra than the Waiter, you could add scissors and have the WaiterX in an 84mm - super cool! 😎 Thanks for watching, ATB 👍

I just got another waiter. Nice Alox one... never saw that before.!! Is it like a Bantam but worth a slotted screwdriver/cap lifetr? BTW I like the illustrations for the snap! It's perfect for your channel! It's like how you are the Emoji King and love the snap. The thing about the waiter is that it is the smallest knife with a "full size" blade that Victorinox makes which will fix nearly any problem. If you don't NEED it, it's not on it!
