Wow, great lessons JayMikee. I am a writer and honestly when I watch some Christian movies, I'm annoyed at glaring plot holes or even weak, hurried plots. I always wonder if there's no opportunity for literary critique to the scripts before or during shooting. Specialization is important as you say, and it's not humiliating to seek help in an area one is not strong in. I also like what you said about movies being a language which means we can watch well-produced secular movies sometimes, not for the message, but for learning or honing our own diction in the language.
