I've searched for this song since I was thirteen. I use to cry out to God to return. I was so depressed. This song would let me express the pain I felt. I never want to feel that trapped ever again! I am free!

My God I remember hearing this song as a child around 10 yrs old. And I'm 35 now. Never could find it during the mp3 digital Era. It just dissappeared. I finally found it again like 10 yrs ago but it was a church video of a praise dance in KZbin. And I was disappointed once again that it wasn't the actual audio track. BUT HERE IT IS❤ omg in all its beautiful glory. TYBG I've found it🙌🏽🙌🏽....

I was actually in the audience during the performance in Chicago and the atmosphere felt as though you were absorbing every word of this song. I met Jevetta Steele after the performance she was really welcoming. 😏😏😏🔥🔥🔥

I'm almost certain this is not the original version I heard, but this is the song I've been searching for and it still gives me chills. I was 12 maybe 13 and this song used to start the sunday morning gospel show on WGCI; for all these years I thought it was Mahalia Jackson, but this is it. and it was your comment that popped up in my google search that helped me find this song.

@@zettajackson2222 You are correct about the Mahalia Jackson Song, Jacquie Haselrig would start her Music of Love and Inspiration Show with Teena Marie - Light that would transition straight into Duke Ellington and Mahalia Jackson - Come Sunday. She would close her show with Howard Hewett - Say Amen
